Timerox Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Timerox mobile application ("Timerox", "we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use it.
1. Information stored on your device
The following data is stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. We do not transmit this data anywhere:
- Workouts — names, intervals, colors, voice pack selections you have created or saved.
- Workout history — timestamps, durations, and completion status of sessions you have run.
- Settings — sound/vibration toggles, default prep/cooldown times, language preference, default voice pack.
- Premium status — whether you have purchased the "Remove Ads" one-time unlock.
Uninstalling the App deletes all of this data from your device.
2. Information collected by third parties
2.1 Google AdMob (ads)
Free-tier users see interstitial advertisements after some workouts. These are served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID — a resettable identifier Android provides to ad networks. You can reset it or opt out of personalized ads via your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Approximate location — derived from your IP address to serve region-appropriate ads (e.g., language, currency).
- Ad interaction data — impressions, clicks, time spent viewing.
- Device information — model, OS version, screen size.
For details on Google's ad data practices, see: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Users in jurisdictions covered by GDPR or similar privacy laws are presented with a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form on first launch and can review or change their consent any time via Settings → Timerox → Privacy options.
2.2 Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)
The "Remove Ads" one-time purchase ($3.99) is processed through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment information. Google Play handles the entire payment flow; we only receive a confirmation that the purchase was made (a purchase token tied to your Google account on this device).
For Google Play's privacy practices, see: policies.google.com/privacy
2.3 Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
UMP records your consent choice (consent given, denied, or no consent required for your region) to comply with GDPR and IAB TCF requirements. This consent state is stored by Google.
3. Information we do NOT collect
We want to be explicit about what Timerox does NOT do:
- We do not have our own servers that collect your data.
- We do not track or transmit your workout content or history.
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact information.
- We do not collect health or biometric data.
- We do not integrate with health platforms (Apple Health, Google Fit, Samsung Health) at this time.
- We do not use analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no Amplitude, etc.) at this time.
If we add any analytics in a future version, this policy will be updated and you will be notified through the app.
4. Permissions the App requests
- Internet — required for advertising, in-app purchases, and the consent flow.
- Vibrate — for haptic feedback at phase transitions and workout completion.
- Wake lock — keeps the screen on during a workout so the timer is visible.
- Audio playback — uses the device's media audio stream for tick and transition sounds and voice coaching. No microphone access is requested.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws (GDPR for the EU/EEA, UK GDPR, CCPA for California, etc.). These can include:
- Right of access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you. Since all your workout data is on your device and we do not hold any personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to provide. For data Google holds related to AdMob/Billing, see Google's privacy controls at myaccount.google.com.
- Right to erasure — uninstall the App; all local data is removed.
- Right to withdraw ad-personalization consent — Settings → Timerox → Privacy options (visible to users in applicable regions), or reset your Android Advertising ID in device settings.
- Right to object to personalized advertising — same as above.
- Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@adelyana.com.
6. Children
Timerox is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly process data from children. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us and we will assist where applicable. The Play Store age rating reflects the App's intended audience.
7. Data retention
- On your device — kept until you uninstall the App or clear app data via Android Settings.
- Google AdMob / Play Billing / UMP — retention is governed by Google's own policies (linked above).
8. International transfers
Google's services may transfer data outside your country of residence. Google is responsible for its own compliance with applicable transfer mechanisms (Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, etc.).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Material changes will be highlighted in the App's release notes.

This policy is provided in good faith and is intended to be accurate. It is not legal advice. We recommend reviewing with a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction before publishing the App to the Google Play Store.
